That's awesome!! And congrats at having so many. I still have my 2 pupae that I'm anxiously watching everyday. The rest of my hornworms died, which broke my heart, and kinda hurt my wallet. Best of luck and keep me posted on how yours do! I'm hoping these 2 I have left will be the start of a...
As the title implies, I have a sweet pepper plant in my garden and was wondering if this would be OK to use as a gutload for my crickets (if they'll eat it). It's not a bell pepper, just labeled a "sweet" pepper that is yellowish/green. I have another plant that should produce red ones, but...
i received my dry batch of worm chow with no instructions on how to mix it. I've googled, YouTubed it, and searched on here. What is the right measurement of chow to water? TIA!!
Not sure it's the same thing, but I've noticed that bigger hornworms have a death grip on any vine. They do better hand fed. Is that what you mean by sticky?
Haha! If I had them all over I'd be looking into how to use them as a feeder as well. My Cham loves worms. I'd Google and cross check here. I'm very curious to see what other member say. Are they safe or no?
I actually remember these worms as a kid. I agree with brownie64, if all else fails worms make great fish bait. Are they like silk worms? Have you tried the with your Cham yet? I'm curious....
Oh my, wooly bears. No clue what this is so I'm gonna google that shit and get back with you! Like worms with mustaches?? Or this delightful creature? (Hehe) jk, jk, thanks for sharing this is very good info
Just kidding......
I was kinda thinking the same thing! She's been showing some gravid colors. I'm kinda expecting here in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for pointing that out as I was just about to start asking...
Check out these bad boys!! So far only 2. A few worms have died, several fed to Chloe, with only 3 pupa left that I keep hoping will burrow soon, as they are eating me outta house and home.... Lol. Fingers crossed at least these 2 pupate....
Ok, there's been a recent thread/debate about this. You can search it on here. I'd say male based on the tail base, but more pics of the tail base would be good. I could very well be wrong. it's very late/early so you'll likely get more experienced owners chiming in in the next few hours. I'm...
I'm only here to learn from other more experienced members, and maybe share what I've learned along the way. Here's my girl, my baby Chloe...
She's gorgeous, happy and healthy. And here's anotherAnd yet another. This is my baby, my Chloe. I think she's the most precious thing I've ever called...
Then again, if @rambonerzilla came at me with vines and leaves and whatnot, I'd snap into shape!! Lol, seriously tho, you could easily grow several of your own plants/pothos for your enclosure. (y)
I feel the same way, my female veiled loves me when I offer food or let her out.
If you have a pothos plant with lots of "runners" vines with little "nobby" parts on the vines, cut the vine about an inch before the "nobby" part and put that end in water. It should start to root out and bam...
Lmao! He's tired! My female veiled does the same thing. She's been accused of "missing all the good parties". I just said "sshhh, don't tell her". Haha!
