I'd still like to get other members' opinions about the emery board things that file down bird claws. I can't see any reason they'd be bad for chams.... Advice here please!!
Pardon me, but from what I've seen the nails are striking. I'm not sure how much more vivid the pics can get!! I think you're good, the original color made an impact on me! :notworthy:
I saw your original post. They looked like a very dark pink/red color to me. Still very striking in color. Perhaps as a newer member it stood out to me. They're so very different from a vieleds....
My girl hasn't moved the past 5hrs at least. She's happy as a clam hangin on the tv cords behind my tv/tv stand. I've learned it takes a lot of nudging to wake her up, then she's mad that I'm moving her. I may be wrong here, others please give advice, but I think it's best to just leave them...
I've also read they won't eat anything but hornworm food, although my brother and I used to find them all over a huneysuckle bush when we were kids....?
@jpowell86 , I don't think it's a big deal, but is it normal for the bigger hornworms to nibble on others? They nibble on my finger when I hold them, no biggie. But is this normal or does it mean they need more food?
Ahh, precious little babies. I'd request one but I'm far from worthy of this species!! I'm planning on a Panther next. You have so many sweet babies tho, congrats!
Just came across this thread. As an old pot smoker I say, hey, whatever. If you're using your chams cage with a grow light, I'd say honestly, make sure he/she doesn't eat the leaves or any hash. Who knows what affect it could have on them. You or I could never know. Try to keep I seperate.
