What an amazing story! And still there a people saying that captive bred chameleons are like dogs and don't know as much as the ones that come from the wild. Humans under estimate the animal instincts!
They are gorgeous! Quadricornis is such a nice species to have!
I'm at Romania for 3 weeks at the moment and Tom is taking care of my baby, i'm dieing for pics cause he said he grows a lot!
5 is a pretty large clutch indeed, it might be possible that those 2 eggs were less developed than the others or maybe they just hatched a little to soon. I wouldn't know, in my opinion temperatures play a role to sometimes. Animals hatched on lower temperatures get more time to develope and...
By breeding more and more generations in CB veiled you get to keep the weaker animals alive and breed with them to which results in smaller, less brightly colored and weaker animals. Like said before the WC animals are the survivors with stronger genes. Even though I would rather get a WC from...

Gorgeous chameleons Benny!
I was so disappointed I didn't get to see them in Hamm

Towards the future I would love...

I posted this in Advanced user topic before, but I guess not everyone has access to that so I might as well post it here too.
Picked up my new quadricornis male in Hamm last weekend. He's a captive bred sub-adult and very cute!
I've had something like this on my veiled male last year. He was bitten in his tongue and it started infecting, then late rhe bit of his tongue too. The vet did surgery on him, but he didn't make it. Before surgery i needed to give him meds too and what helps if you wnat to just make him open...
