    stoners and jacksons chams?

He was in a dorm and he had 2oz. Expelled from school and a felony on his record. I feel bad for him but he was being really dumb, practically asking for it. I don't have a problem with pot, I have a problem with idiots lol.

    African Praying Chameleon??

Praying probably comes from their defensive stance where they raise their hands under their chins. Probably just came from someone involved in getting them.

My mom is the same way :) She doesn't care much at all for my snakes but I brought a baby veiled over once and she fell in love. She wants pygmies! They are something else.

    Traveling Chameleon?

I used to do this with my tree frogs :) I also just sent a baby veiled off with a family that traveled 250 miles to get her and she made it back fine. Just get a tupperware and drill or cut some holes in the lid and put a moist paper towel in there and he will travel just fine. I put a little...

    Mites in fruit fly culture!

I'm glad that it worked for you, but I did not have the same experience. I had mites while using mite paper or insecticidal paper. My melanogaster would get out from time to time but hydei are too big. Are those too big for neo chams? They seem much more substantial to me. They take a little...

    Mites in fruit fly culture!

Mites are inevitable in fruit fly cultures. Whether they come soon after the first boom or later, after the culture is used, they will get there. I tried my hand at culturing fruit flies and it is a hassle to keep them out. If you order from joshsfrogs.com they have kits with preventative spray...

    Female Chameleon Owners

I don't think I'd identify with "girly" or "tomboy". I guess somewhere in between? I'm heterosexual and I like looking nice, I do my hair and makeup and try to wear flattering clothes but I'm modest, try to stay classy ;) I don't like pink or care for designer clothes. I have snakes and amphibs...

    Chams cage reeks!!!

When I got rid of the live plants, the smell disappeared. It could be that. Do not use antibacterial wipes. Use vinegar and water or the solution davtheveiled suggested and rinse VERY well. Chemicals can be very harmful to chams and other herps. When I was keeping crested geckos and frogs I was...

Baby Bearded Dragon acting weird.. Need quick advise !

As an aside, did you quarantine the new one at all before putting them together? New animals should be quarantined for 2-3 months to watch for any signs of illness whether they will be placed with another animal in a habitat or not to keep any potential illness from spreading. I'm sorry he's not...

    antibacterial wipes

To my knowledge it is best to use chemicals very sparingly and if you do, rinse them off very well. If your cham drinks water that has settled on the residue from the wipes it could make it sick. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    He fell!

Depends on what you believe ;) My panther jumped off of my hand onto carpet once, it shocked me a little but she was fine!! I put a little bit of foliage on the bottom of my bigger cage in case it helps though.
