    Sambava?

So true. It just bothers me knowing that chameleon is suffering from improper care. Your ideology on not giving the owner satisfaction makes complete sense. Thank you so much for your valuable input. Im just hoping the owner comes to his senses and offers to rehome instead.

    Sambava?

I told him I will care for the chameleon properly if he is willing to take a loss on it. I just think he thought they were simple to care for, and less time consuming. If he only feeds it once a week, i cant imagine how many mistings the poor cham gets. I know someone stated they wouldnt spend a...

any thoughts on my setup for izz?

From what ive read and seen, chameleons like to be placed high up. Your set up is looking good, but just find a higher table to set the enclosure on. Also add more vines and plants to give him or her more hiding spots and climbing areas. I also feel like your limiting your area by using such a...

    Humidifier converted to fogger

I picked up a CVS portable personal humidifier. It uses an adapter that fits standard water bottles. Duct taped some vinyl tubing to the humidifier, and ran the tubing to a piece of PVC pipe that i had drilled holes into. Set it on a timer to run 2 hours on, 1 hour off, and so on for the...

Yes i am misting atleast 4-5 times a day. I also add ice cubes to the top that act as rain when i am going to be out longer. She loves the ice cubes, and when im home, i acually enjoy the sound of the drops falling and hitting the plants. Will be on the hunt for a mister soon

    Finished and decorated enclosure.

Thank you .lol that was my exact thought, a small childs imagination would be endless if they were a chameleon. I saw your in N. California. What city/ town are you in? i studied at CSUC in Chico, CA for 4 years. I loved being away from the city, and being closer to nature while living out there.
