my fiance and i are planning on getting a ball python fairly soon. Do you think we should get it chipped? and any info for us a new owners would be greatly appreciated.
we are having the same problem with our veiled. Our vet seems to think that her eyes problems are related to the respiratory problems she is having. if you have any success with any of the feeding techniques please share them.
why she was getting them before is still a mystery to us. we went over her whole set up and our apartment setting and feeding and watering schedule with our vet and she couldn't figure anything out either. and i think you were right about not enough air, she readjusted herself and the...
not when its just gaped open. But unfortunately, she has just now started doing the gasping behavior she does when she has an RI :( i am really hoping she will stop tomorrow morning, in the past three months she has already had 2 RI's. she hasn't done any of this gapping or gasping all day.
Dory is currently sleeping with her mouth open. Is this something to be concerned with? i feel i should also note that she is sleeping in a weird position tonight.
we are avidly trying to get Dory used to being handled so it will be easier to give her medicine when she needs it, but she is fighting us hard. Today when i tried to take her out i got bit three times. shes still little so it didnt hurt but it was still alarming.
When our vet gave us baytril it was diluted with chery syrup to help with the taste. Aperntly baytril is very bitter. Dory is now on baytril for the second time and this vet diluted it with beef flavor :s
When was the last time you were in there? They have had panther babies for the past couple of weeks. They might be out now though. I have just been giving dory crickets. If you buy a reptile from rasumsens they give you a feeder cars that gets you 10% off of feeders and 5% off supplies. Lol my...
Our landlord said no pets but when I asked about Chams and other reptiles she said they were just saying no pets for loud animals such as dogs. Most places are more than ok with reptiles, just make sure your crickets don't run rampant lol
Check our rassmusen reptiles in the northtown mall. They have a alright selection of panther and veiled. They have a beautiful store pet panther named banjo. I don't think they breed him though. They mostly have veiled there. They just got some new translucent veiled there. They also have alot...
Damn, I got to this thread too late, I could have used that sound system lol. I would have sold her shit on eBay and told her if she wants it she could have won it back by bidding lol
well thats a bummer. i think we are going to try a different vet this time. its all so frustrating because she appeared to fully recover from the first infection.
