sorry for your loss you said that your heat lamp was always on and you turned your uv light off at nite. did you turn your heat lamp off at nite aswell, i dont no if this would of caused your cham to get ill. but both lights should be switched off at nite

anyone used a schefflera amata plants for there cage ive just bought two big ones for a tenner each. they are about three and a half foot tall with good thick branches.

someone corect me if im wrong. you shouldn't directly spray water onto your chameleon but spray the plants/ foilage in your cage for them to drink off as they are atracted to the movement of the water on the leaves/foilages there for your chameleon will drink from the leaves. also it mite rare...

i would take that water bowl out of there chameleons dont drink from standing water. some extra foilage and it'll look great
