so i posted last week about my panther being on a hunger strike and one of the members sugested to try superworms, so i went out and got some and put some in his cage and a few minutes later he nailed all 4. this was in the afternoon i thought id leave him and try him with crickets in the morning but no luck.
alls he seems to be interested in is superworms, waxworms and mealworms just worms really. every time i put crikets or locusts in his cage he wont touch them and he trys and gets as far away from them as he can.
e.g when i put them in they tend to stay near the heat lamp so my cham will sit on the other side of the cage.
anyone got any sugestions or is he just addicted to worms

also would just worms make up good diet if i get hold of silk worms as a primary feeder and use the other worms as treats

sorry for the essay
cheers chris.

Hi Chris,

I feel your pain lol. I have been battling this with my male Ambilobe for about 8 months now.

I tried offering him everything else, 3 different kinds roaches, crickets, flies, moths, butterflies the whole nine. He will not eat anything but worms. I just do my best to feed a mixture of super worms, silkies and horn worms and occasionally slip a dubia in his mouth(he hates it). I gut load the super worms with high calcium fruits and veggies and lightly dust them.

Hopefully your guy is just being picky right now

hes just refusing to eat them ill just have to keep trying see if he will eventualy eat them
i cant find anywhere that sells hornworms in the uk and im going to order some silkworms tomorrow.
