    DARK Colouration for Andrew

The basking spot is right around 85-90 with his perch placed about 6-inches from the top of the cage. He is a sub-adult (7-months) and is in a 18x18x36 enclosure. There is also a UVB 5.0 bulb, again, with a perch 6 inches from the top.

    DARK Colouration for Andrew

Hi Everyone: I received my Ambilobe from Chroma 2 days ago (beautiful animal), and poor Andrew is having a stressful time. He is displaying a rather dark colouration. As this is my first "mail-order" chameleon, I was wondering if this is normal, and how long I can expect this to last. He...

    Question on Dubia/Cricket Gutloading

I guess I have read many threads about what to gutload with, but havent really come across anything that says how much to feed them - as silly as it seems I do not want the crickets to cannibalize, but I also don;t want to be wasteful. Also the same question goes for Dubias. I am interesting...

Crickets Freakin' Stink! any suggestions on de-oderizing them?

How about using baking soda in the room you keep them? I keep mine under the sink in my kitchen and have noticed a smell so I am going to try baking soda. Also, try separating them out into smaller containers so they arent all climbing on eachother and such. I noticed that would cut down a...

    How Many Crickets a Day?

We are getting our 7-month old male panther in a couple of days and we want to make sure we have the right size and number of crix onhand (we will be using crix as the staple). We were thinking 7-10 1/2-inch a day but any further insight would be awesome. Jason & Jess
