If you wrap them in anything to keep them insulated from the cold,, towel, paper towel, socks you can then keep them for a few weeks in the produce bin . Take out a couple times a week to let them move around.
Wax worms, all natural every other week or so available. No chemiccals, When you receive them they may be in cocoons, just squeeze and they will pop out, or leave to hatch into moths.
Having roaches in capativty will make you feel differently. I used to raise them, but they multiply like rabbits and with other things to care for, 8 different species of roaches was to much for me. I always felt bad when they ran for the food, stupid me, thats all roaches want!lol
Looks like mites, but there is a wasp that lays eggs on hornworms and it is gruesome to see. They acutally hatch into like a maggot and become a 1/4" long. The wasp lays them in the hornworm and they feed off of it. If thats the case, they won't hurt your baby.
Flies do not have enough body to have much fat, they are just wings, legs and eyes, with stomach full of eggs, they suck their food, so they really don't have much fat. I feed them only to my mantis and have never had a problem with them.
yeah, they probably wouldn't hurt them, just a warning to be careful, but in the wild, no one is watching them and they do fine taking care of theirselves.
I think any type of stinger flying insect would be gutloaded really good due to their nectar food. The bumble bee has a stinger and will bite. If that doesnt worry you , go head and use them, the cham will benefit from them.
