I’m watching them now. It’s been about 8 minutes but they’re not moving. I think I killed them

Try taking a couple out and moisten them.

I keep mine in the fridge because I read it helps them last longer. I hope this is true 
. They always seem dead when I first take them out, but after 10 mins or so they are usually wiggling around. I did kill a batch tho 
. They shipped in moist dirt and they died fairly quickly in the fridge. The batch I have now is in some kind of small grain and they are doing well…I think. It’s been about two weeks.

Nope, they’re all dead. ill have to order more And not put them in the fridge! Lol!

Just an FYI…bsfl tend to last a decent amount of time. If you keep them long enough they’ll pupate into flies, which are great little treats to release into your cham’s enclosure for them to hunt down.
If you wrap them in anything to keep them insulated from the cold,, towel, paper towel, socks you can then keep them for a few weeks in the produce bin . Take out a couple times a week to let them move around.
