I use bottled water. I have my mist king using a 5 gallon bottled water jug. I pay .75 cents for 5 gallons. No problems.

If you really need to rehydrate him, place him on a plant in your shower and let the water bounce off the wall or fall lightly on part of the plant. Let your cham soak on the plant for 30-45 minutes. Use lukewarm water.
Baby superworms will get your cham to eat. Be careful though, once they taste a superworm, some have problems accepting crickets/roaches again. Also be vigilant with your husbandry to ensure that the "hunger strike" is just attributed to being bored with food instead of something more troublesome.
If you have it already, then enjoy it. Set the timer and let it go. It is loud, but it will keep the humidity up and supply drinking water to your chams. Use distilled or bottled water.
When you have your next $100, get a Mistking starter system and really enjoy your husbandry addiction.:)
