Habba Mist

Anyone used a Habba Mist by zoo Med? I got the system pretty dirt cheap but have not set it up yet. Wanting to hear personal feed back first before spending the time and effort. I am just hand spraying right now

If you have it already, then enjoy it. Set the timer and let it go. It is loud, but it will keep the humidity up and supply drinking water to your chams. Use distilled or bottled water.

When you have your next $100, get a Mistking starter system and really enjoy your husbandry addiction.:)

Well put.

I have a few that do the job. The con is they are loud and have a small reservoir.

When y'all say loud, can you specify? Like loud as in I wont be able to sleep in the room next to me? I rather just buy the mistking or aqua zamp

Do you sleep during the day? You shouldnt have any mistings going on at night :)

Its about the same loudness as the condensation pump on your furnace. It doesnt bother me.

haha when i take naps during the day a bomb could go off and i wouldnt hear it.

If you havent spent the money yet..I would go aqua zamp because its made in the usa or mist king. Both great products

Think I will go aqua zamp ... I saw that Jon Rich turned his into a raindome. Hope he sees this so he can post the pictures again and show how to do it!

My problem with it was it was more of a spit - than a mist. And we have had two and both just stopped working. But it definitely does it's job.

I definitely prefer my mistking though. It's quiet, It has a very very fine mist, the reservoir can be whatever size I choose, and I can easily and cheaply set it up to run to more cham cages. Which was nice when we rescued our veiled - spent a few bucks on a new nozzle and that was it!

I would use it as a back up as it can use batteries as well as mains. Couldnt do without my mistking .
