Thanks Jann, ive just had a look and i can see what you mean, i think it may be age then... his not brown as you can see from the picture i put up on here yesterday but he never goes any brighter then them colours, he stayed them colours when he was put with Lily too, perhaps he might not ever...
well i know you can tell when they are fired up cos of the bright bold colours...But does it matter if they dont fire up, as im a little concerned that Bob never fires up, he does nothing when he see's himself in the mirror and he didnt even changed colours when he saw lily and mated her...
Not managed to weight him yet, he doesnt fit/stop on the scales and im trying to find out how to zero them and sit a plant on it for him to sit on to get an idea... hazard of a guess at around 150g's but thats a pure guess

That light would be the UV going down the length of the tank
sides and back is wood, then its mesh roof and full mesh doors ;)

Thanks guys, it was sorta for the best as now i dont have to worry about the trouble of her having to go through the egg laying again, shame she had a tuff end to life :/ i dont think her original owner took 100% correct care of her either as she had burns on her side and stuff :/
Well after she had a troubled laying a while ago she never really got better from laying, we then noticed weight loss and then over the past couple of days she got a growth just where her tail starts, it grew and changed colour so i rang the vets and they couldnt get her in till tonight but...
Dancing on air since when.... im as high as a kite litterally :P mom thinks ive taken something XD idk why im high tho
also any one knows incubation period on these little devils?
