I'm glad your cham was ok, but kind of sucks you had to call in late for work. I'm actually shocked at the behavior of some these delivery guys. For me personally, I have never had a problem with UPS, Fed-Ex or USPS (well not on their part, the only problems I had was on my part). In college...
That really really sucks! The kids might have stolen them to sell them as well. I mean 75 babies is a lot. You might want to check on craigslist for anyone selling veileds. If you get an e-mail reply, you can just go to the police and they can probably track them. In socal, certain breed of dogs...
I thought the problem with pre-mixed supplements is you never know how much is actually in each dose. It's really hard to get a really homogenous mix. You'll get random percentage of each component. Take this random % schedule:
35% Herptivite, 10% Calcium, 55% Ca w/D3
25% Herptivite, 20% Ca...
You won't see it now, but Nick Mole of First Choice has ads every now and then. I think he removes his ad after a day or two and reposts it a couple days later.
When you said you were in LA valley, CA. Are you by any chance near Calabasas or North Hills.
In Calabasas, there's Dr. Molnar and Dr. Milikin in the All Animal Clinic. I just saw Dr. Molnar yesterday. He has experience with chameleons. They're close on Sunday and it's only $65 for a...
You could try contacting kammerlfage. They have excellent customer service and are really flexible. You could send them an e-mail or call them and ask if you can deduct the $75 off the their smallest package since you're not interest in the cage. Here's a link to their starter kit page...
Just went to the vet today. I asked my vet if he ever heard of chameleonforums.com. He wrote it down, maybe he'll check this place out. He used to keep chameleons before but stopped due to his busy schedule. He was very informative about HR699 and the different reptile shows around. He even goes...
There are other factors involved as well. Bakersfield is kind of in the desert area of California (on the way to Vegas). I don't think the chameleon would appreciate a long car drive through the desert heat. Also 110 miles can be longer than it sounds with California and LA traffic. Sometimes a...
She looks dehydrated with the sunken eyes. What type of night light are you using? Could you take her to a vet? Here's one I found in Edmonton and Calgary:

Just went and checked that page again and apparently the listed vet in Edmonton is no...
There was a member from Europe who would hold these minor "guess the locale" games and he posted some wild Masoalas that looked just like the pardalis.be Masoalas. I think that's how they really look like, kind of like their color scheme.
EDIT:
Cleanline's Masoalas look like this...
Your link in your signature doesn't work, but your homepage link via your username does. Are you going to have any Tamatave, Maroansetra and/or Masoala anytime soon?
Those names/types are actually localities of where they're from. They tend to have a specific coloration such as the Blue Nosy Bes. If you go to breeders' websites you can see the difference between the locales.
Try looking at screameleons...
The only thing I can think of is mouth rot. I never had an experience with it, but there was a post earlier this year (or near the end of last year) about a chameleon who had mouth rot to the extent that a good portion of her lower jaw fell off. I found the thread...
Yes, daddy long-legs spiders are one of the most poisonous (I think it's actually venomous because it's injected rather than eaten) spiders in the world. However, most people can't tell the difference between a daddy long-legs and a daddy long-legs spider. They can't inject their toxin to...
Sort of hi-jacking the thread
If (When) the non-native species ban falls apart, maybe the reptile community should move towards addressing some of those. I know dogs and horses have some sort of breeding record (horse having one of the best ones I know), why don't we bring back the breeding...
Pam's Cham had 2 CB for sale earlier this year for $700-800. You might want to send her an e-mail. They were pretty good looking. I wouldn't spend that much money on WC.
They're pretty small. The 6 inches is probably total lenght including tail. Here's a somewhat recent thread depicting one on a hand.
