There's no way he's 10 months. He's about 3-4months at most I think. I got a male veiled as well, slightly smaller and he's just about hitting 3 months. I'd double check with whoever told u he was 10months :) handsome looking guy u got there thou!
Hey everyone. My Cham has just completed his shed so I'm not sure if these are possibly new coloration or a sign of up coming mouth rot. He's doing perfect, nothing wrong with him apart from me worrying if it might be mouth rot. Here's a pic, any comments are appreciated! :)...
Hey there I would suggest having a horizontal or diagonal branch kinda below the basking area, between 6 inches or more from the basking light instead of having her stand on the leaves of the plant while she wants to bask. She looks rather dark so she might not be getting enough heat and trying...
Hi guys. I was just wondering if anyone on the forum's from Singapore and has some dubias to sell? It's so frustrating to be unable to find a variety of feeders in SG. pm me if u do!
I get the same thing too even with my geckos. IMO I think it has to do with whether u have thin or thick skin, those sharp nails prolly somehow penetrate those w thin skin and cause some reaction. As with those who don't get those bumps,u prolly got thick thick skin. Haha just my 2 cents worth
Hi there! I too worry about my chameleons hydration cus I never ever see him drink but if u check his poop and the urate is white and not yellowish/orange, he should be drinking while ur not looking! That's what I'm observing for my Cham. And you mentioned using calcium w d3. That should be used...
Oh my she's in a really really bad shape. Instead of dripping water maybe u should try misting her directly in the face. That might feel abit better and water droplets forming on her mouth instead of water droplets falling on her mouth might encourage her to drink. Hope she gets better!
Thanks everyone for ur generous comments! I too can't wait too see him grow up developing his casque, colours and all! Rest assured I'll be posting pics of him as he grows. :)
Yea I agree the first pic and second pic look like 2 totally different animals. The back on the first one even looks crooked while the 2nd seems in the pink of health! Weird
Ok so I made the biggest mistake by feeding him a mealworm lol and it seems that he's just waiting for me to give him another! It was just a treat but now he doesn't seem to pay attention to them crickets! Is it alright for such a young veiled to go on a hunger strike? I know it's possible for...
How about this. Tell him to reset up his enclosures and tell him u won't give them back until its at least satisfactory for u. Who knows he might actually do it so just he can get them back. Worth giving a shot
Hi all I was just wondering if there were any Singaporeans on this forum? If u happen to be from sg send me a pm and perhaps we can exchange some tips n pointers on keeping chams in sg! Cheers!
Yes it's possible but I believe he has more of a sensitive skin rather than an allergy. Everytime I handle my pets such as my geckos the parts where the nails 'scratch' the skin leaves red extremely itchy bumps as well! If its an allergy he'll prolly get sick but the itch stops after awhile m I...
