:(:(:(
That's just rude.
I've got to run to work now but I'll be checking messages or this thread as soon as I get there. Hopefully she listens to you.
Where's she based out of anyways, Frisco?
Any word yet? I'll be heading off to work here in an hour or so, but I'll keep my iPod (it can get online, wooo!) handy. :p
I'm anxious to hear what that lady had to say about all of this!
@Ferret - If you can arrange a pickup, I'll gladly take him in until you come into town. I'll drive and meet you somewhere, whatever you'd like. I just hate to see him suffer. :(
I don't have as much experience as a lot of people here on the forums, but I know the basic care and can have...
So, what she's saying, is she's tired of the adult Veiled and now she wants a baby because it's cuter? Lovely.
That's sort of rude.
Where is she located again?
He's so beautiful, that's so unfair to him. :( :(
My little dude sleeps vertically too, hanging onto his dripper. It's like his little cuddle buddy..He doesn't sleep without cuddling it and if not the dripper, a leaf! ^^
What constitutes as a heavy plant eater?
Like. If I do have a chameleon that likes to munch away on plants, what would be the most highly recommended plant?
I've looked at all the lists and searched other forum threads, but I can't seem to find one definitive plant that many people agree on...
If it's any consolation, the remaining live baby is doing much better now. He had his very first shed and it looks like his eye is doing better, I haven't seen him close it in two days! :D
He's also eating lots of crickets and drinking, and is under the correct type of UVB now (I had to wait a...
Okay, I'll try misting the tank a bit more often too, just to make sure the humidity levels stay up.
And I'm going to set up a little plant in the shower right quick so he can relax on it while the water sprays around to see if it'll help his eye any.
This is also a picture of what he's doing...
Yeah it was literally just sitting there, smashed in the door. All that was hanging out was the back half of his body. I have to admit, I did get angry and I grabbed the manager and was like "WHAT IS THIS?" and pointed at it. They ran around like chickens with their heads cut off for a few...
Can I mist him even though hes so tiny? I saw somewhere that they could like, drown or something like that. It gets in their lungs, or something.
Just, spray him with a little spray bottle?
Ummm. HELP.
I appreciate all the information about feeding and lighting and whatnot. (Thank ya'll very much!)
But, his eye is still acting funny, what can I do about it?
I literally -just- saw him bulge it out really big and then start itching it on a branch. It's small again now and hes...
@Brandychams, Thank you! I'll have to add a special schedule to the calender for when he eats certain crickets with certain powders on them, then!
@LingLing - Thank you! I'm glad to have found the forums, it took a few days, but they've already been really helpful!
Is there a specific type...
Is there a specific type of space heater for chameleons or can I just go to like, walmart and buy one? I was also thinking about buying a little heating pad for the bottom of his tank to replace the red bulb with, would that help at all?
And I don't have a UVB, I did take him outside one day...
