I work with furry animals during the day and scaly ones at night! I'm a veterinary tech with my RVT, not that its doing me any good at the moment but I hope to find a higher paying job soon.
I will be putting a male R. brevicaudatus in with my female...so we will see what happens, this will be my first breeding experience if all goes well.
-On a side note I'm glad to hear about all the carpet breeding, I'm keeping my eye out maybe to expand my obsession!
Ok this is only slightly off subject but I was wondering how people went about convincing thier bf, gf's or other housemates that might not be as into chams as they are that its a good idea to get more. I only have one pygmy(hopefully soon 2) but they both will live in a fairly small enclosure...
You have to go see Paris, its absolutely beautiful. You can have a romantic dinner under the stars. Ive never beeen to the real Paris but now I feel like I dont have to.
So I was gonna get her pinhead crix but petco is dumb and they thought 2wk ones were pinhead and then I started wondering. If 2wk crix are too big then how long are pin heads gonna last me? Even when I have 2 pygies I dont see them going through 100 crix in a week and none of the stores around...
this page helped me a lot in setup, dont forget a live plant :)

PM me!
hmmm...Is that why pygmys are false chameleons?
I'm glad they do so well in them at least, guess its more pygmies for me until I can get a screen cage.....then who knows what!
I dont know if you read this yet but I thought thier was some cool info and pics of gravid carpets on this page:

I've been trying to dig up info too! Its hard to find but I'll let you know if I find any more.
About reptile depot though I got my CB pygmy from them, the only thing I didnt like was they said they could not tell me the sex. I know now its pretty easy to tell if your expirenced. You can call them too, I had a few convos with them over the phone before I ordered.
p.s.- not all of us...
Ok so I'm confused (again). I don't want to start a glass vs screen debate but I was wondering- Why do pygmies do well in glass enclosures where other chams do not?
I've read the cons of glass, less ventilation, possible fugus or bacteria but if thier that horrible why do pygs do so well in...
Thanx, I thought she was a girl but I had nothing to compare her to. Now I don't feel so bad for calling her a "her" this whole time, guess I had a feeling from the start! Hopefully I'll get better at cham photography and maybe even have some new additions to show off :D
p.s.- I'm...
