so ive heard so woes recently about how someone had a horrible time trying to order a mistking. They expirenced bad customer service and was basiclly forced into a preorder situation. (They apparently got it sorted out.)
In the past ive ordered chameleons, vines, etc from them and they had...
Hi! Sorry for your loss, :( i would say its a respiratory thing since both of them were doing it, (i never had ishues like that), but i read alot of the time a good way to tell if your cham is sick with respitory problems, is if they whistle when they breathe. Though this certainly isnt a...
Dont know much about chameleon ears but i know he'd sure get a better mood when he heard the crickets in the next room :p. I think this would be a fun expirment for you to try, with the nature sounds. Watch his behavior and see ^.^ at the very least it might be a white noise thing for him. :p
Medium crickets noted (y). I plan to use a peanut butter jar. Having different containers with dif vitamins is an excellent idea! I cant a cricket keeper that woulds well. And that story about trying to catch the run away cricket lol! :ROFLMAO:
I saw your thread about the mister  they certainly seem to not know what theyre doing. Id never heard of people having so many ishues with them in the past. o_O
Ill definitely make sure. I can always pute one my thermometers woth a probe in there. Cant imagine it would get too bad but :p. Should i worry about him getting air or? They dont seem to worry about it in the mail so lol. Ill prob use a mail box or a smaller box with a blanket over it.
(y)
I figured they must be since theyre the beginner cham species but :p and i dont think ill have any durastic temp changes itll be in the car with us and our other small pets the whole time. (y) Do you think itll be fine without a heat pack then? It def wont get down to 40 f (thats...
Thanks so much for your imput, this is super helpful! Ive been wanting to get one but id hate to wait 2 yrs (till i move) to get one. One person thought it was selfish to get one now and then move. o_O We wont be stopping the night unless someone is dieing because we have large animals as well...
I ordered from lllreptile, and they say that you absolutely have to sign or the mailman has to take it to the post office or something. But they never do ask me to sign. I usually just hide from my mail man so he just leaves our stuff in the car lol! I think it depends on your mailman.
I cant say for sure about the chameleon side of this but i can tell you it has no benifit for the plants unless you have some like super exotic fancy plants (lol) :p Then they may need special care. But is highly unlikely
I dont want to ship it :p i just thought it might be easier on it to pack it that way. Theres also the ishue of how long can they stay in things like that. Its an 18 hour drive no stopping to this side of the state
Seems like a great setup. (y) Those are some beautiful babies! Id be sad to see them go too! :p
(y) Ill remember that. And i like to prepared, aka ive been known to research too much :ROFLMAO: always more to learn though.
Thanks for the best wishes!
Ive read a bit about sexing them but i was getting confused on the plump part thanks for clearing that up for me (y) ill definitely look for sticky traps. And ill make absolutely sure that theyre away from my pets, that would be a nightmare!
does change in altitude effect chameleons?
Obviously theyre going to encounter it during shipping but better safe than sorry (y)
And itll be a pretty durastic change. Im currently at 980 ish and i plan on moving to wyoming where its for example its 6,062 in cheyenne, or in casper its 5,118...
