Just an FYI, Franklin died on Easter from advanced renal failure from the 4 years of being oversupplemented. So now I only owe the vet a small amount from the necropsy instead of my life savings and not even being able to save him...
I was told (by the vet) even if it was caught early, i...
He was tested not even a month ago, and tested negative.
I will see what i can scrounge up, but like i said, i have $200 + in tuition payments, and not even getting $100 a paycheck. I was just trying to see if anybody had any other suggestions before i go completely into debt on an old age...
Update: A friend of mine ended up giving me money for this girl to get her and care for her for a few days until he builds a cage :D so she is now in my care, at home, in a nice roomy cage <3 with a lay box!
Also: Petco does not carry cats OR dogs. We do, however, house a few kittens from the...

I work at Petco, and we just got this animal transfer in lastnight....
She has been at another Petco for a year, and never had a lay box. She is going to EXPLODE with eggs! And honestly, we don't have anything to properly house her in...so she is in a tiny 1/4 of an endcap with nothing...
I'm from Altoona, it's quite a drive, but deff worth it to meet more reptile people and meet some of the forum members in person! I'll deff try to make it to that Hamburg show in the very least, but I probably won't be driving and I'm not sure how the driver will feel about chillin with...
I just got this little baby about 2 weeks ago :) Any advice/information?
I have a few questions:
1. Supplements. What should i do? I've heard so much conflicting information, and i just want to make sure it is getting the right amount of supplements. As of right now i just have scattered...
So far so good. Its still sticking out, but he's still as happy as a cham can be. Eating (soft bugs to help when it comes time to pass them), drinking, active...
It's not a matter of them being open, nobody is open tonight. It's a matter of one who will take in a chameleon. The one that i normally go to retired, and the other, over an hour away, is packed with the overflow from the first one retiring. I tried calling the emergency hotline for two of the...
I'm having trouble getting into any vet at this point. It won't fall off on its own if i keep it sterile? Like castrating a bull? As long as i make sure he doesn't get an infection...

This is seriously the most realistic chameleon toy I've ever foundI It's labeled as a baby chameleon, but looks like a female to me...the adult version looks horrid.
Cant wait till she comes in the mail and Franklin gives me his opinion :)
Horns are okay every now and then to keep the chameleon hydrated, but theyre not worth breeding because theres not much nutrient content to them. I havent tried fruits and veggies yet, but am going to, i've only had him 2 weeks.
For example (this is what set me off):
Horse people
Roundpenning is a training technique associated with submission. When the horse changes direction, they should turn toward you, not away from you. This means they acknowledge you. This one horse I'm working with always turns away, and ive...
Sadly, no. Petco is the only shop around, and i work there lol. They don't have any of the good bugs, and don't special order them :( I would breed my own, but my last escepade in trying to breed silkworms ended in failure, and now its too cold to order anything. I rely on gutloading in the...

You have a few years of experience under your belt and you come across something your not familiar with, so you post about it in a forum, and you have newbies barking down your throat stating facts they've "heard" or read about thinking they're experts.
I've rarely had it happen here, but...
