I have replaced it with a reptisun. 5.0 and some have started to open their eyes more but the one that have always had there eyes open and moving about, I still have not seen them eat and I have feed pin heads really small and hydei ff.
My thing now is should I get a 2.0 bulb because this was a 5.0 and it did this to my chams could it be because it's a tube style UVB light. Should I just get the reptisun 5.0 bulb
I have already turned it off and spoke to my local vet and she gave me some cream to put on there eyes. I might be able to take them outside tomorrow if its warn enough hopefully it will be
No the do not like being misted at all and it look like they just reach for branches without looking where they are going. I think it's proly the light
Yes I have completly stop using the controller and some still seem to keep there eyes closed its like the are awake but just keeping there eyes closed they move around and climb but keep there eyes closed most of the time it's rare to see there eyes open
Also I kept them in a shoe box size tub with vermiculite and squeezed water out of it the eggs got no warmer then 80 degrees stayed prolly between 70 to 80 degrees the whole te and it took 6 and a half months to hatch
The female was a year old I fed her no more then 50 large crickets a week and supplemented with repashy herp and repashy calcium and I crushed real viit A powder into powder and while she was preygo I supplemented more calcium
