No the vet did not do xrays, he just felt the mass. Here are a couple pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. If you can tell.
I just got her out to soak her and I noticed her vent seems swollen.
Yes and no when I take her out to soak her......she will grip and pull herself on my hand.
When she is soaking she will move then trying to pull herself out. when I put her back in her cage she will go back to the bottom of her cage and drag her back leggs.
Well last Saturday she was laying on the floor of her cage and not moving. I got to the vet right away and the said that he felt a mass in her belly and that she could be pregnant. He was not 100% tho. She has not had a bowel movement at all. I got on here last night and posted pictures and...
So what do I do for Cain, she is just laying on the floor of her cage not doing anything. When she does move, she drags her back legs and bottom half. Is this a sign that she is getting ready?
Do I just leave her alone or do I need to set something up for her to have the babies?
Good Day everyone,
I started a thread in the health clinic under "I need help fast" after all the very helpful advice I think that my female Jackson Chameleon (Cain) just might be pregant. Now starts my worring for other reasons.
These Chameleons are my first ones for me and I am new to...
The vet lanced her foot and told me that I did not have to clean it or anything, he said the soaking her 30 mins daily would clean it out.
What do you suggest with the supplements?
Yes I did remove the substrate, what should I replace it with?
I am a new owner to the Chameleon...
Everyone kept talking about babies I quite the presure on her belly right away.
This morning she is in the same spot and has not moved.....she also did not have a bowel movement.
Should I just wait it out or what should I do?
Would the mineral oil hurt her or the babies?
The vet told me to gently apply pressure to her abdomen area. I hope that it didnt hurt the babies.
Thank you all for all the help and advice.
The other Chameleon is a male, and they were toghter for sometime. She might be prego....but she is only 6 months old. I guess she could be, but she still has not a bowel movement in a week and a half. Able (male) he seems to be doing fine. Cain (female) has always been calm and does not move...
