I keep them in a 60 gallon rubbermaid tub with a screen in the top so I know thats not a problem, i've been doing this for a couple of years now and havent had any problems until recently really. I use bug burger, fresh oranges, cricket quencher, and occasionally potatoes. So thats not the...
So like the title says... I'm just done with crickets, they smell, die to quickly, and are just a pain. So besides roaches, which I would get if I could have on my apartment, I need a primary food source for my three chameleons, any ideas of a staple I could use. Keep in mind I'm in the us lol...
Well guys I've been observing Pepito since I got him and he just seems so skinny to me. Isa didn't seem that skinny when I got her over a year ago and now that he's around 6 months old so I figured he would be a bit bigger by now but he seems pretty tiny to me, he is fed every day about 8...
I'm not 100 % sure but if he is a panther that may be apart of his aggressive or flared up colors. I've seen other panthers with that red throat. Don't quote me just what I think it could be. And if that's the case nothing to worry about
Hey guys a stumbled across another persons threads this evening and saw them say they were going to get a reptarium.. What are they besides to me what looks like a more flimsy screen cage and what are the pros and cons versus my repti breeze cages I already own. All info would be great! Thanks!
I know you said you can't afford the AquaZamp but in all honesty if you save up a little more and stick with the hand misting for a bit longer, you should do that. Remember panthers live in a tropical climate and the captive temps are almost in the 90s for a basking spot and in the 80s for other...
Okay let me clear this up lol it doesn't drench everything in the cage, makes it nice and wet, but the water happens to collect in the laying bin at the bottom of the cage which is a home depot bucket that is 12 inches deep. And it is on the same setting as yours is, but my chameleons sleep 11...
I'm just going by word of mouth really, I haven't used one at all. I might if I happen to want to buy another misting system but I don't really have a need at the moment. But I will think about it, your word means a lot to me. Hmm I am gonna have to think of something..
Yeah I would put in a new thing of bedding and all that, the longer you keep it in there, the more they poop, the more die off and you get that awful smell. I hate it too lol
Yeah but the Raindome was better for me, I don't like how the misters tend to spray everywhere lol I hate it. But anyway, Yeah but then how is she going to get to her bin? I have a stick coming out of it and some leaves and sticks over to help with the water but it didn't seem to do much.
So i just bought an aquazamp premium raindome for my chameleons and there is only but one problem with it.. Regardless of how to position the foliage in my cage or move branches.. The laying bin keeps getting a ton of water in it.. Its frustrating, I've been dumping it every day or so for...
Alrighty then.. Well I put a shower curtain over her cage to give her privacy tomorrow while I am at work so we will see if that works out the way I want it to. Any suggestions?
Very nice! Good job. I would grab a couple more vines and weave them, that would be pretty cool I think, give mr. Gus some more options. But its pretty nice the way it is!
See I was thinking that too, she hasn't really been overweight until this past month when I have been going to my friends more frequently to see her and then I bought her back. Then she started getting the orange markings with some blue dots but they aren't very distinct or popping out like i...
