There should be no lights on at all at night time. Chams need pretty much complete darkness to be able to fall asleep. If you are worried about the temperature, regular room temperature is okay at night. It can drop to the mid 60's F and she should be okay. :-D

The store should have a veterinarian check out the chameleon. I used to work at a pet store in high school and they had a vet come in twice a week to check out the new puppies/give shots/look at any ill animals/etc...
Also, you could ask the store if you could foster the Cham for them until...
The only thing I change is to increase the wattage if I notice the normal room temp is down.
I used to change the lights so they turn on when the sun is up and turn off when the sun is down, but I live so far north that at this point the sun isn't fully up until about 8:30-9 and it gets dark...

It was a Christmas gift this year. My friend said she got it from a local little store in the mall.
I totally want to go back and get the whole set! Also, she said there are zebrafish ones too, and I want some of those because that is the model organism I work on at school.

A little saltwater fishtank!
