Wow. Thanks for the pic. That looks amazing, don't know if mine would turn out like that!
I know this is probably a stupid question but what did you use for the mesh?
Yer he is a veiled. He doesn't like a shower, he tends to run out if his doors open jist to avoid it. His plants do hold the water nicely but it still gathers at the bottom of his enclosure so I might have a go at a drainage system, at the very least it will entertain me for the weekend :)
Hey guys!
Hope you're all having a good day!
I was wondering if you could all give me some advice/tips. I've got a misting system installed and I am currently using paper towels on the bottom of my little mans enclosure but I wondered if there was anything else I could use to help to collect...
I love your budda statue. As the others have said though loose the water feature (or don't turn it on and your littles one can still clamber over it) more real plants and plenty of branches or vines. It's looking good though.
Afraid I can't help you with the age though!
Hope he settles in...
Mines named after the Cham off Tangled, Pascal (I have a 4yr old daughter that chose the name). I really liked Ringo! He's a stunner so I don't think it matters what you call him. X
I really hope I'm as lucky as you. My little man runs to the front and enjoys being held ATM and I'm hoping it will stick but I'm not putting any money on it yet. :)
Hey everyone!
I just wondered if I am best to stick to just crickets till my little man gets a bit bigger or possibly add some other form of nutrition in?
I think he's too young but just wondered what you all think.
Pascal is a Yemen, approx 6 weeks (we think as the bloke at the pet shop...
Thanks kingley. I didn't think of that but I suppose you can't really remember when each one hatches if youre a breeder, I can't barely remember my families birthdays let alone lots of little chams that all look the same! :)
Funky kangaroo,
I think it's cos he was in a busyish pet shop on a corner so he's used to people. He comes straight out onto us. We've never encouraged it but I'm glad he's so settled :) he does seen to prefer my hubby to me though :(
I'm sure he'll grow out of that! Xx
Thanks guys!
He does eat really well IMO, last night a tiny fly flew into his enclosure...it lasted the whole of 2 seconds.
Can't wait till he's big enough to eat spiders!
ahhhh bean's gorgeous!
The bloke was adament he was 3 months, they had smaller at the pet hop too! I am just wondering if he is small too as they are a very reputable pet shop and i personally ahve never had or known anyone to habe any trouble with them.
Should i be concerned if he is...
Thank you! :D
I was guessing about 6 weeks from what pics I've seen so i wasn't far off what you were thinking!
Have you got any pics of your little one? x
I am now a very proud parent to a male, yemen chameleon, Pascal.:D
I have wanted a chameleon for 4 years and have done a LOT of research. I won't buy a pet until i am completely happy that i can fully care for the animal, and did precisely that this time.
My problem is that the pet shop, (a...
Thank you so much! Ive removed the vine as he started hissing and as soon as I did he went back down to normal colours and even ran over to me trying to escape!
I wonder why reds so bad? after all it wasn't moving?!?
at least he's happy again! :D
Thanks x
