idea I did this but instead of fish line I drill a opening at the end of the stick glued a small magnet ;) and attached it to screen with another magnet lol u could always use small sheet rock screws to instead of tacks

Superworms are fine .a lil fatty but they wouldn't harm. I use them as a suitable diet as well as crickets roaches flies .
