So I am new to the chameleon community. After months of research I am supposed to get my male ambi panther this Thursday and I am unbelievably excited.
I have read that you shouldn't feed them anything larger than the space between their eyes. So it seems like for the first few months crickets will be the main staple food do to the efficiency of obtaining small crickets at the local pet store.
My question pertains to when the Little guy gets a bit older. He is about 4 months now and so I was thinking of using superworms as his main diet when he gets older. I read that if you wet them the tiniest bit they are easy to dust and that they are pretty easy to gutload. Is there any reason why I should be inclined to stick to crickets as the main food source? (Regardless I will be trying to give him a varied diet)
