New build starting off a pain in the tush

I have a bunch of cages that I did without the jig that turned out fine. I mainly bought it because I am slowly building lots of cages and noticed some of the screens bowing in on the sides. If I were you and building just one cage. I would just make sure the frame is square and take my time...

Ideas wanted for elevating plants, please!

Drill thru the metal screen frame on the top panel. Put two eye bolts in. Then use 1/4" aluminum rod cut to size and place in the eye bolts. You can then hang a planted pot off this. So nothing touches the floor. Steve McNary showed me this and it works great.

New build starting off a pain in the tush

If you have a cheap roller, it is not easy. This is pretty much exactly what I do. Very easy and fast.

    Online Crickets?

Ghanns is good. I get about 6000 crickets from them a month and have almost zero death. Last shipment even had delays none showed up dead. Like someone else said, if they escape. They don't just die. I have quite a few crickets that I drop on the floor every morning in my chameleon room that...

    MistKing Hygrostat Controller HT-24 Reviews???

I didn't like it. It sounded good but it ended up kicking on way too much. I flooded some of my planted cages and had to suck out tons water. After a bunch of adjusting it worked ok but defeated the purpose. The seconds timer works way better. I've started just buying all the climist parts...

    Early isolation=dull chameleons????

I'd agree with this statement, though I'd never have thought that was one of the main points when just reading the ABC article. I didn't have to log in with any password or user name, it only had me find and select the name of my university.

    Tanzania 2014 Kinyongia Quotas

Kinyongia fisheri has a 3000 WC quota, I believe that most of these getting exported and imported into the United States are actually Kinyongia multituberculata. This is only based off limited personal observations, so maybe someone else can explain a bit more about this (or correct me if I'm...

    New Tanzania shipment

That quarantine room is awesome! As are the pics of the various chameleons. Did you guys make all the cages? It looks like the doors are removable rather than on hinges, is this more convenient and efficient? Easier to keep clean?

    Accurate caresheets for "rare"r species?

Europeans have published quite a few articles and care sheets to look over. If you want to study biology, I recommend that you start to use binomial nomenclature properly, unlike almost everyone on this whole entire site.
