    New to the forums

I have a large reptibreeze and bought everything separate, because I work in a shop that can order things in a trade prices :) Muji will courier the chameleon to you using a proper reptile courier. All Yemens will be captive bred as far as I'm aware.

    New to the forums

Hello fellow UK'er! I'm also new to chameleons (but not to reptiles) I recommend finding a breeder over purchasing from a shop. My new pather Cham came from muji. I recommend them :)

    A new start....

Thanks :) yes I've already been asking a ton of questions! I'm still rather nervous but after a month or so I'll be in a routine with him and hopefully won't worry so much!

    A new start....

I joined here a couple months ago after getting my first chameleon Olive, who was ill. Sadly she died a week after the vet visit :( I was urged not to give up on chameleons, so last week I received a 4.5 month old lovely ambilobe panther from Muji, a recommended breeder here in th UK. His...

Reasons why real chams need real plants!

Didn't realise you could put orchids in! I'm just redoing my enclosure, I might get a nice big one for a centre piece.

    Not eating, newbie help?

Actually, I've just witnessed her continuously tip her head back puff up and produce small bubbles :( will ring vets in the morning for an appointment. I can't believe this I've only had her a few days :( Her head is now perminant in an upright position, URI it is then. Am I going to lose her? :(

    Not eating, newbie help?

Yes it sounds like puffs, but I don't normally see her do it. I'm not sure if its worth a vets run or to leave her for a few more days?

    Not eating, newbie help?

But if its thought best I will take her to the vets, however the reptile specialist is an hour round trip and I don't want to kill her with stress :(

    Not eating, newbie help?

I only go in the room when I need to, otherwise she is left alone. She's yawned when basking, but not seen otherwise. The noise happens infrequently sounds maybe like a squeal. I can't see anything round her nose or mouth but I can't get close to her as she runs off and I'm trying not to stress...

    New!

I think she was hidden up in the back when it was taken. She's still yet to eat, but hasn't quite finished shedding yet. :(

Yep I've ordered another vine that will be coming with my arcadia uv flood light system :) I'll feel happier once she's settled down, finished shedding and eaten something.

    New!

She's in my room, which only has me coming in and out. I have read many care sheets over the months. Here is her cage. It's one of the biggest reptibreeze ones, with 2 sides covered in black aquarium backing. Sadly the basking dome couldn't fit on the top due to the cage being on a high shelf...

    New!

So, I've been lurking for some time now umming and arring if I should get a Cham or not! Well on Friday I did! A little grown on young female yemen. Well when she arrived, she was shedding really badly and still has some bits to come off. She freaks out when I come into the room. If she's a...
