    Meet Memphis from the UK.

I was worried to at first as didn't see him eat and I thought he was eating only a couple a day, but now he is having between 8 and 12 a day, medium sized locust. Haven't noticed much growth but I see him every day, but I am now away for work for 7 days so the wife is on duty. :) I am sure I...

And Memphis is now taking the locust from a long pair of tweezers and not running and hiding when I open the viv. :)

    Meet Memphis from the UK.

I am so happy right now. I have been away for the week, Monday to Friday so the wife had to look after Memphis and although we knew he was eating, by counting his food in and out while I was away the wife told me she had seen him eat. Well this morning I have give him a good clean out and put 5...

It's a glass viv and I have been reading up on cup feeding yesterday. That is my next job over the next couple of days, to get a cup located in the viv and picked up some tasty crickets. :) I have seen him drink off off the leaves so that's good. Thanks you for you input to this newbie cham keeper.

Still has not had anything to eat but yesterday there were 10 locusts in his viv and I can't see no where near 10 today. I would feel I lot better if I could just see him eat one myself to ease my mind but I guess he is still settling in and won't eat in front of me.

    Cricket feeder cup success!

I think I am going to give this a go as well. I am hoping it will work for me to but need to get some crickets as I only have locusts at the moment and they sure won't stay in the cup! :)

Yup, tomorrow, just done some more work on the viv and checked the temp over the last 24 hours. In the cold corner it's between 72 and 75. Does that sound right?

Thanks everyone so much, this is just want I wanted to hear before my cham comes home. To answer some questions. The top is also made of wood and both the heater and light are screwed into the top left corner. I will lower the jungle vine down a bit, thank you. I am in Ipswich, Suffolk and it...

A couple of questions from the UK.

I realise that they do not drink from a bowl, I have that in there just to get the humidity up a bit. I am not getting my cham till Friday afternoon as I want to get the civically set up and check that it stays within the correct temperature range. I would really love to build my own viv, I...

A couple of questions from the UK.

Morning all. I have spent a lot of time on this site over the last year and more because I have wanted a veiled cham for over 2 years now, maybe even longer but don't rush into things. I like to see if I still want things after a while rather than jumping in head first then having to rehome...
