Thanks for the input. As I'm in Northern Canada I will wager it was not found outside, our local pet stores actually suggest anole as a food source for larger chameleons. Tomorrow I will endeavour to catch the little pest, without completely destroying the terrarium. :eek:

Yes sorry, I do plan on putting in a drainage layer, what I meant is there is no drainage out of the enclosure, I'm concerned that the water sitting below the soil layer will cause problems.
