Should I be worried? My little T Sternfeldi is hanging upside down from one of his branches, with his eyes closed, it's still light out, not nighttime.
Your Chameleon - t Sternfeldi, male, guessing young, don't know exact age. Had him for about a month?
Handling - Every couple days, he will willingly climb onto my hand?
Feeding - At this point only crickets, Calcium dusted daily, calcium with D every other week, vitamins every alternate week. He won't eat meal worms or phoenix worms, and he's too small for anything else. Generally he will eat 10+ crickets a day? Crickets are gut loaded with carrot, apple, almond and collard greens
Watering - Hand spray bottle, which he runs from if I accidentally get him, last night switched to the portable pressure sprayer, he has not run from it, and as it has such a wide spray, it gets him.? Mist for less than a minute four or five times a day. I try to keep his humidity above 60%, but let it dry completely between spraying? I see him drink often, and see lots of white poop around his enclosure
Fecal Description - poop looks normal, last poop I saw had the first sperm plugs I've seen
Cage Info:
Cage Type - cage is like an exoterra, but with better vent holes at front, full screen top, 18*25*33
Lighting - Two repti glo 5.0 compact 26w UVB 100 lights, and a basking light
Temperature - basking temp is 80-85, lowest temp in about 75, down to about 70 at night.
Plants - Live plants, ficus, umbrella, baby tears, pothos
Placement - Cage is in high traffic area, but he never shy's away.
Location - located in Northern Canada
I don't think he gets 12 hours of complete darkness, can't do that unless I put him in a room with no windows, though I do think his lights have been on for more than that a few times in the last few days.
