I have a male veiled chameleon and he is always wanting out of his cage, i go to spray it and he's already crawling up my arm... and if he's in his cage he's always digging to get out...
his cage is always clean and there is always water sources and plants and crickets...
I just don't know...

My cham has been trying to eat the fake plants in his home. But i have a real plant in there..... how do i stop him from eating the fake leaves and start eating the real ones ?
Veiled Chameleon , Male , 4 month old approximately.
Yesterday and today I noticed like little crust around his nose its white, and just plugs his nostril but it isn't a lot, and it doesn't seem too dry and crusty..
To be honest I am not sure it is crust but I was assuming so cause its...

He has crickets running around his cage and mealworms in a dish...
but I just saw him look at the plant that is in his cage and eat the soil...
Does anyone know why he did this?
Recently got my veiled chameleon. He is approximately 4 months of age.
I know you shouldn't handle them too often, but i want to be able to make sure he is used to being handled..... but without being stressed
which is the best way to achieve this without stressing him out too much
I was using it for water, but I saw him drinking droplets off the class so I started just to put mealworms inside hoping he would eat those instead, but he doesn't seem to be interested in them

So I recently got my very first veiled chameleon. His name is Dave by the way.
So basically all I have been feeding him is crickets, and he looooooves crickets (I don't know if thats normal but I guess it is..) but when I try to feed him mealworms or any other type of insect he doesn't seem...
I just got my very first chameleon and my set up looks similar to yours, I have some questions though, I was told that like an indoor/outdoor carpet should be used... but right now I have like a mulchy ground... is that okay for my little guy ?
