hi,
i just bought a jackson chameleon and like my last chameleon, i had put him on a small willow tree in my yard, but i totally forgot that i had left him outside for some natural sunshine and 7 hours had past before i had remembered.
I went to look at my reptile cage looking for him and...
thanks.
I do have a 29 gallon tank ready with some very tiny dowels in there and plants too but i think ill just use the dowels for now so i can watch them better . I also have a sun light and a heat lamp on both ends for them to bask under.I also put one of those green carpets on the bottom...
ben beetles
if their exoskeleton is a problem then it may not be wise to consider this for my future babies, but i cant deal with fruit flies they are just too messy and i have them all over my house already from putting them in my cage for cleaning my moss. I guess ill stick to cricks
keeping them in large tote
Im keeping the stinky things indoors in a very large tote with a screen so they are in a/c. and im buying them 3/4 size so as not to figure on adult die off. Im also buying them from premium cricket company if that makes a difference.
Has anyone heard or seen what a bean beetle is? they are comparing them to fruit flies and was wondering if they are just as small and able to feed to baby hatchling panthers?
Im not sure why but lately ive been having a problem keeping crickets alive. I have plenty of eggflats in there, a container of water with sponge and sifter on top and plenty of food. anyone know why their dying off so fast? there dead in a matter of days.
I lost my female after she got pregnant a second time and im feeling so guilty over it, now im worried if ill do ok with the clutch she did lay. I have the first layed clutch marked as march 2nd , so its going on 6 months, the temps are a little under 80 degrees in a bin with a mixture of sand...
my female did the same thing and i ended up losing her unfortunatly
It was my fault i believe, I didnt keep a close enough eye on her nor did i weigh her because she did pretty well with the first clutch, i thought as long as she has a laying bin she would begin going down to it when she was...
I bought this from steve at the custom wood reptile cage company on ebay. It costs around 1,100 and coomes with hood and nice base with storage, placement for sprayers. screen on 2 sides and a solid wood divider which can be lifted out for future breeding. there are 2 rooms each 2x2x4 ft and has...
oops sorry
Im trying to hatch panther chams. and my first step is to place them in this elongated 29 gallon aquarium, then move them to a larger individual cages as they grow. im probably going to build a large outdoor enclosure here in central florida until it gets cold then move them inside...
oh ok, well now im a little confused
I understand to change the temps and lower the quantity of food, but im confuse as to when to do this? is there certain months or times a year?
