Dude, that would be great! Thanks!
I PM'd him from this site as well. I'm jammed up on time and need something set-up by late next week. I would like to give him my business; it might not be much, but it is something.
Jason
I searched but didn't find anything. I guess I can PM him.
I've been trying to call the number on the site since Friday and it gives me a "fast busy" signal; so it is disconnected or not going through. I also sent an email via the website, but haven't received a response. I have some...
Just A Little Update...
We went to the vet Saturday he said that "insert name here" does/did have MBD, but he is stable and all his bones are hardened and his joints look good. As for his hind left leg it was broken when he was little, but it is fused and fine. The vet said he is in good shape...
Ok. Thanks! I appreciate it.
Thanks! I'll be fine. Ha! He will be taken very good care of, especially, with the help from you guys
Ok. How old do you think he is? When should I wean him down to everyother day?
I know the late feeding is bad. I know it won't hurt him long term, but I just have to get him in a routine. I left his lights on an extra hour last night and he sat up by the light for most of those (2) hours. When I went to turn the light off he was down in "his spot" He sleeps pretty low...
He ate well yesterday afternoon, I think 1 small cricket and 2 medium crickets. I want him to get out the routine of eating so late in the day so starting the free range feeding today will work out well.
I just put 4 medium sized crickets in the cage before I left, and I'm feeling more...
How old do you guys think he is?
What should be his food intake/schedule?
Is he old enough to let a few smaller crickets out so he can free feed?
Thanks!
Thanks guys!
I will keep you guys posted on "?", maybe I'll drop a line when my son comes back and names him. The leading names so far are: Gumby (for Tulane's old mascot)((son's choice)), Milo (my choice), Pascal (wife's choice). Who knows what he will end up as a name.
What do you guys...
That is what I've been using. I've only fed the crickets twice. Each time I gave them garlic onion (kinda like chives) I have fresh in the garden, an apple slice, some spinach, lettuce and one pellet of that fish food. Like I said I will discontinue the fish food and throw away the smaller...
Cool. Man you had me worried.
I bought all his supplements from Petco. I noticed the first (2) both are calcium and D3. The smaller he told me everyday and the larger (from left to right) 2x a week, and the multi 2x a month. I will be by an exotics store Friday and will pick-up some calcium...
Thanks again, everyone!
Yesterday afternoon and this morning were good. He ate (1) medium/large cricket yesterday afternoon. I was a little worried if he ate too much so late in the day. This morning he ate (3) medium crickets. I guess i could have given him more, but I didn't want to...
I feel the same way about pet stores. We just "rescue" animals; whether it be dogs, cats, hermit crabs...and whether it be on the streets, other owner and yes pet stores. Not all pet store workers are bad.
I just felt bad for him. He has a little brother he was sharing a cage with, and if...
He was pissy, as you can tell. He was coming from the bottom of the cage when I got home. His poop is fresh. Does it look ok? I still can't get a good shot. I will try again this afternoon. I took some better pictures of his legs and stomach. He is pushing it against the cage, in turn...
Poor thing. I didn't want him to be an experiment. I feel bad... PM me the questions. Thanks!
Petco has substrate, water bowl, dripper, manually misted. They did have both lighting, if they keep them up-to-date... who knows. I told them it was wrong, but they didn't really respond. I feel...
So i am using the wrong UVB bulb? He has about (10) branches to use, with the addition to his plants. His basking area is 8" from the top. I have an electronic thermometer/hygrometer. Same ones I use for our hermit crabs. They are accurate. I will look into the solarmeter.
I told my...
