I have 2 month old veiled so ill be getting a 2x2x4 cage in the next 2-4 months. Just curious if anyone can highlite pros and cons of brands like dragonstand, DIYCages etc. or why you prefer one over the other. Thanks!
Just wondering if anyone has any ingenious way of doing this? I currently painstakingly fish around with tongs in the cage. I hate it, my veiled doesn't appreciate it. I'd prefer not to stick to cup feeding if possible.
Also, could she need a higher temperature? I have. 60w incandescent lamp for heat. High temp range is 83 on a hot New England day at top of cage, 79-80 normally. Bottom of cage is typically around 73. I find her climbing the screen walls closer to the lamp than I have placed the closest vines...
Yesterday I finally caught her eating one cricket. I went back to free roaming the crickets, one happened to be climbing along the screen in front of her and she grabbed it. It was the only one she ate though. I also put fruit flies in the cage yesterday, she could be eating those... Too...

I feed in the morning and when I get back from work, anywhere between 3 and 6. I will be swapping out the flukers for fresh veggies next trip to the market. I had left the container of crickets in her cage hoping she would eat when I wasn't looking, but I don't feed her before bed. Any tricks or...
