Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, Female, 3-5 Weeks old appx., Had her for 5 days
Handling - Haven't yet, not even to put in her new home. Just left the container she came in open inside her cage.
Feeding - Fed her meal worms the first day and a half because that's what the store had in her cage and i wanted to wait until my crickets were gut loaded. I would put 4 meal worms in her dish twice a day, she would only eat 2 per feeding time. Feed her about half an hour after her lights come on / after her first mist. Currently gut loading with Flukers Orange cubes.
Supplements - Currently dusting every feeding with Zoo Med Repti Calcium (no D3). Dusted her first batch of mealworms with ReptiVite and plan to do so every other week.
Watering - I currently mist 2-3 times daily for appx 1 minute. I also have a homemade dripper. I have not witnessed her drinking as of yet.
Fecal Description - In the 5 days I have seen i think 3 movements. Each has been solid, mostly brown with solid white urate tip. She has not been tested for parasites as of yet.
History - Bought from pet store 5 days ago, picked her out because she seemed the healthiest, she went right down to her bowl and eight some meal worms in front of me in the store.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen Cage - 16x16x30 for now.
Lighting - 12 on, 12 off with 60W incandescent & 13W ReptiSun 5.0 Compact Fluorescent lamp.
Temperature - My Range is typically only 10 degrees at most. Appx 80 up top and 70 at the bottom. The coldest night time temps were probably 65... but that was only last night as its been hot and humid here lately. I have a Nat Geo electronic humidity / temp and one more electronic thermometer for the bottom of the cage.
Humidity - I maintain levels between 50-90%. Maintained by misting. Measured by electronic humidity gauge.
Plants - No live plants yet, waiting until the move to larger cage.
Placement - Cage is located in my bedroom, which i also use as an office. Traffic can be heavy on days I work from home. There is one fan across the room, diagonal from the cage. It is only on at night though and it really isn't in the path of airflow. I would estimate the cage height to be 5'.
Location - Located in CT.

Current Problem - So, beside her eating the meal worms initially, I have not seen her eat any crickets. Feeding her small sized crickets appx 1/8 inch give or take. She shows no interest in hunting them when I put them in. It does not look like she has eaten any when i get back from work... but hard to tell. I remove any I can find at night but don't want to disturb her by removing the green turf I have down or rustling leaves too much. I have tried putting a couple in a small red cap, like you would see on a can of Pam Spray, and it almost worked - she began to move down from the top of the cage but gave up 2/3 way down, at which point it was past her bedtime and i turned her lights out.
I know it can take some time for chameleons to adjust to a new environment, 2-3 days i thought, at least until they're comfortable enough to eat. Especially for how I've heard babies can eat... 10-15 per feeding? Should I be worried? Should i switch back to worms... something healthier than meal anyway for the time being? I will try the feeding cup method again tonight with crickets. Also of note, she is not the most curious reptile. While she does move she prefers to just stay up top for the most part.
Attached are pictures of when I first got her, her today (blurry but best i could manage right now), fecal matter and cage setup.

Are you feeding crickets in the morning? Or just right before she goes to bed? Because that's what I understood from the post you put up, that she got them right before bed time. She needs to eat them during the day, sometimes during the morning or around noon, usually a couple hours after the lights turn on is when you feed because otherwise they won't eat. I would start gutloading with something else as well. Fluker's orange cubes are a horrible gutload, you can either make your own gutload like I do, or you can buy something like Rapashy's Bug Burger or Cricket Crack online. I would also make a hanging feeding dish, often these are bigger successes with cup feeding than dishes on the bottom.

Other healthier worms to give (though they shouldn't make up a major part of the diet) are silkworms, hornworms, phoenix worms/black soldier fly larvae (also can feed the flies), some super worms... I think that's it... There are tons of other feeders though. Like various types of roaches, or stick insects. Grasshoppers are great feeders too but you have to catch and raise these before feeding.

I feed in the morning and when I get back from work, anywhere between 3 and 6. I will be swapping out the flukers for fresh veggies next trip to the market. I had left the container of crickets in her cage hoping she would eat when I wasn't looking, but I don't feed her before bed. Any tricks or just patience here?

Usually is a lot of patience, she might be addicted to mealworms since it sounds like the pet store was feeding them to her on a regular basis and they are an easy thing for chams to get addicted (not the best thing either) and tend to be rather fatty. I would stop offering mealworms all together, it looks like she has some good weight on her, and if she's at the growing stage like she should be if you stop offering mealworms she should get hungry pretty quick, just offer crickets instead and she should pick up on it pretty quickly.

Of course, good luck to you and the little one, if it doesn't go as planned in a couple days I would come back and ask for advice again. Something else might be wrong with her and it might be worth a second opinion XD

So, it's been 9 days and she still won't eat any crickets. I've tried letting the crickets roam, putting them in a dish at the bottom of the cage and just today started putting the dish in the middle of the cage on some branches. She has had 4 or 5 poops, all look normal; solid brown with white urate. I have caught her drinking at this point. Any ideas?

Unless she snuck a few while I was letting the crickets free roam, even then that was close to a week ago. The last time I saw her eat was last Sunday, with mealworms. With the mealworms she had no problem eating in front if me, so not sure if she would have privacy issues with crickets. As long as I've been putting crickets in a dish though, there has been exactly how many I put in the morning when I get home from work.

Hmmm... Has she been eating leaves of plants that you know of? Or are all your plants plastic? I might add more plants from the looks of your enclosure... it looks too barren for her to be comfortable right now.

Sorry for the late reply, hadn't realized you had responded.

Yesterday I finally caught her eating one cricket. I went back to free roaming the crickets, one happened to be climbing along the screen in front of her and she grabbed it. It was the only one she ate though. I also put fruit flies in the cage yesterday, she could be eating those... Too difficult to keep track of them. I put some more leaves in her cage today. All plants are plastic, when I move her to a 2x2x4 cage I intend to put live plants in. I also went to pick up some Phoenix worms today, tried 'hand' feeding her a worm with tongs and she freaked the hell out, jumped and landed on the cage floor but got back up in 5 seconds to move back to the top of the cage. She seems to mind my actual hand less fiddling in her cage. Attached some pics of her sleeping and current setup with more leaves. Any more advice is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Sorry, having trouble with this iPad. Here's the picture of her now. And I've seen, approximately, 7 poops in the 12 days I've had her.

Also, could she need a higher temperature? I have. 60w incandescent lamp for heat. High temp range is 83 on a hot New England day at top of cage, 79-80 normally. Bottom of cage is typically around 73. I find her climbing the screen walls closer to the lamp than I have placed the closest vines, 6-8 inches from the lamp. Should I bump to 75, or would this risk a burn?

If she's pooping that often she is eating something, I would start free ranging crickets more, she might just not be a cup eater. Just free range a few at a time. Her temps sound fine for a female veiled.
