    Anybody else experience this? He has a swollen casque and probably MBD and his eyes are puffy so I figure it feels good to have a massage.

    Thank you all for your information. Yes, I do have a UVB light and will change the bulb today. I knew about the 6 months longevity. I suspect it is MBD as his legs are thickened and one vet said he had the beginnings of MBD. Unfortunately for the longest time, he would not eat the mealworms...

    Veiled Cham's casque and cheeks swollen.

    My vet tried to drain it and nothing would come out. He did inject antibiotics in it though. That did not help. Just wondered if this is fatal however it started in August 2015. Thank you for your reply.

    Taken George to 2 vets. One said fat stored in casque, the other vet said circulatory system problem. Does anyone have another opinion or agree? When vet said fat storage, I found all of George's mealworms in his substrate in the bottom of the cage. They had been crawling out of his dish...
