Ive got two lovely boys, one who is super shy and small but also very sweet(baby veiled), and one who is very outgoing and begs for my attention 24/7 (adult panther)
I recommend you leave his cage open for awhile and do something in your room that way he can come out on his own terms, this almost always works especially with the little boys. patience is key and if it doesn't work the first time you can try hand feeding and slowly getting him used to your hands.
hunter is around 8 months old. Thank you for all of the kind words! panther girls are very pretty although they won't get the red or blue bars you see on the males. They get beautiful peachy tones. you should look up some pictures of female panthers, some are stunning.
weirdly enough the second i got him he was very outgoing and handfed the day i got him. ever since he always hangs out by the front and try’s to get out. his name is hunter.
im so sorry for your loss! people get misinformed all the time by pet stores and sometimes breeders if the breeder doesnt specialize in chameleons. I rely heavily on information from this site it is much more accurate and helpful.
