Thanks! After a few opinions I think were leaning towards not gravid. They are both getting special care! if anything happens to them my wife will kill me!
I am not sure how common these are in most of the world but I know in Canada they have only been offered a few times so I bit the bullet and got a pair. I've had them for 2 days now and have watched them both eat. They seem to enjoy the 20 minute misting sessions every hour or so. I do have a...
This Saturday I will be picking up a pair of nosy mitsio and I will have options for the healthiest pair. I've researched the importance of hydration and things to look for. If anyone has tips please let me know. Other then general health a few questions I have are. Do I go with the smallest...
Unfortunately it looks like the tree wont be staying in that spot. My wife was nice enough to let me make a chameleon room so the tree needs to go down there. I think it looks pretty cool in the living room lol it will have better lights down stairs though:notworthy:
My neighbor gave me this and I'm hoping to use it for the chameleons. Also if I can use it does it require a bunch of sun? I am hoping I can use it in the chameleon room so I'd like to know the light requirement. Thanks!
I don't actually touch the colony yet. I've had them 6 months and its small maybe 15 adults and lots of small ones. Other then feeding and cleaning I don't contact them. That will change in a few months though. No hives but it makes the inside of my nose burn! i'll look into the masks but I...
I just made a chameleon room but I do keep some feeders in there so I'd like to have a fan in the room just so the air doesn't get stagnant it would most likely be on the floor. Its a small room so think big closet with a sink. My concerns are for RI's, I've never had one with my chams but I...
Ok, I gotta ask. Whats the longest you've stared looking and not seeing the parsonii?! That set up is amazingly huge and i panic after 3 minutes of looking before I see my panther 3 inches from my face and my set up is only 6x2x2! Oh and this set up is fantastic, cheers
I would't be concerned about that. If you throw in 10 crickets having a few escape for the few hours until lights on should be fine. In my opinion. the bigger he gets the less i would worry too. Maybe put a carrot at the bottom of the cage so the ones that escape will go to the bottom and eat?
