i couple weeks ago I expanded my chameleon enclosure by cutting a pass through in his current enclosure to allow for movement into a now attached bird cage. Has anyone else used a bird cage? I know I've seen on the forms some people use them for outside time, does anyone use one inside? So far...
Too funny not to share. I've had my little guy about 2 months and he's just starting to be comfortable enough with me that he will let me watch him when he eats, instead of hiding the the plant in the corner whenever I even glance at his cage
Here's the pictures. 'Woah, where'd you come from...
Have you tried to wipe or scrub the area? If so what happened when you did? In my experience encountering mold, most mold will wipe off or scrub off fairly easily. If you tired that and the wood itself seemed to splinter I would say probably the wood is no longer stable and should probably be...
I have had him a little over a month! He usually picks a branch to sleep on or hides in this fake plant I have in the corner, I just had never seen him sleep hanging from the top. It is good to know your veiled has done it too. Thanks for the reply :)
I woke up this morning and found my chameleon sleeping hanging from the top screen, tail straight out... never seen that before anyone else ever have their Cham do that? Anything I should be worried about?
I took a couple (not great) pictures, woke him up in the process.. sorry little buddy.
Hello everyone my little guy started shedding today for the first time since I have gotten him. I was starting to get a little worried about him because he was acting strange the past couple days. Yesterday he didn't eat any of the crickets I put in the cage for him, but he did eat the few meal...

Feeding – Feeding...
I do a heavy mist once in the morning and once in the evening and then at least once more, if not twice during the day. Lots of plant leaves for droplets :) I have never actually seen my chameleon lick the droplets or drink from the dripper... he must at some point though because he is still...
Hello everyone!
I have a young male veiled chameleon and I fear he may be getting dehydrated. I have only had him about 2 weeks and his last urate was more on the yellowish side than I think is good, though there was still white so not all hope is lost. I have no idea how old he is but he is...
Good morning everyone!
I am still new to the chameleon family and I am wondering about chameleons' washing out their eyes. I have read numerous times in different forums/blogs that one of the important reasons to mist vs just having a dripper is so the chameleons have the opportunity to wash...
Hello everyone! I am new to the chameleon community. I have only had my little guy a week and have not even decided on a name yet! (partially because I was not sure if it was a male or female at first, I've spotted the small 'spurs' on the back feet though so I am guessing male!)
My question is...
