I think Ambilobes are really stunning. But they are the most commonly kept locale of panther. I have a Sambava myself, I enjoy having what most other people dont!

If I had to choose one or the other, id go with the crested gecko. You can handle them, and they don't require an expensive misting system in their set up. Dart frogs are beautiful and fun to take care of, in an ideal situation you would be able to get them both. That's just my opinion...
