@jannb I thought that too and monitored it closely. It was odd though that I woke up today and his color was all normal and uniform throughout. I’m keeping an extra eye on him to monitor it but I think a burn is ruled out
Hello all,
Got home from work yesterday to see my lovely Kendrick displaying some of the most amazing colors I’ve ever seen him show. He’s due for a shed soon, he was extremely light and extremely dark at the same time. I got home from work today and he was his normal shade of green throughout...
I have a mistking, with a total of three nozzles in the cage, the nozzle in the right side where the majority of my plants are is T’d so there are technically two nozzles, and then in the left side of the cage is just one nozzle. I have it set to go off 5 times a day, three minutes in the...
I just switched to bioactive and used the bio dude bioactive substrate, along with the drainage layer that he sells. My enclosure has had no issues and the plants seem to be doing great. I added about 500 springtails a week ago and I’m going to start adding more insects to the cage to see if any...
You all have been so much help. I personally, and my little Kendrick thank you!! I got a 9 inch long, 3 inch diameter piece of PVC, as I work for a pool company so there is no shortage of pvc in my life haha, drilled several small holes in it at the bottom, got the hydro balls from zoo med but...
All of these ideas have been so helpful guys thank you so much. I just bought a 36qt bag of BioDude soil and a 36 qt bag of their drainage layer. I also bought drainage mesh from Exo Terra to separate the layers. I think I’m going to do a little experimenting with glass drilling too, definitely...
Hello all,

Haven’t read any of the responses yet so I could be redundant at this point... but do not get a waterfall; as badass as they look and as cool as they are, they’re nothing but a pain in the ass. Instead put that money towards an automatic misting system like a mist king. I made the mistake of...
Way to actually take the negative feed back and turn it into something positive! I would just say live plants down the road to help regulate the humidity especially since it’s a screen enclosure. Nice work!
Just an innocent bystander here but I think his “taunting” face was actually a “:” next to a “p” when referring to the calcium to phosphorus ratio and the computer turned it into a tongue face hahahah. Gotta love technology.
