Why are hunger strikes caused by super worms? My panther just went through this. He stopped wanting crickets so I introduced flies and superworms. He loved both so I continued to feed him the superworms, with no interest in crickets. Then he stopped eating all together for a week or longer. I...
Hey everyone, my special panther chameleon enjoys climbing on the side of his cage and along the top. As he grows, I don't think he can hold his weight very well and so he frequently falls 48" down to the bottom of the cage. Fortunately there are many plants at the bottom to break his fall. But...
I know... i spent about a 1000 creating my bioactive 24x24x48 enclosure. I did not expect to, but i had so much fun building it and it was totally worth it.
Also in addition to veggies, the Repashy Superload is good and goes a long way. Instead of making the mold, I just sprinkle the powder in and they love to eat it.
Monet hung with me today while I did my taxes... He likes the flowers. Oh my word he is the cutest. I work with him every day to build his trust. I have had him for a month. 3 weeks ago he went through a shed and has grown fast since then (still has a piece on his head that never fell off). I am...

I use a UVA plant light that stimulates plant growth, but doesn't add any extra UVB (which I already have). I bought the Exo Terra Natural Light 26W. It is really nice to have the extra light and the plants are definitely growing well.
Monet (Ripley's brother) does the same thing! Though, I have moss covered vines and he will tug and rip at the moss and eat it, little bits at a time. He has been doing this since I got him and so far hasn't had any complications. I just assume he wants his greens... which is frustrating because...
I went completely bioactive and what I love about it most is that it is simply beautiful to look at. Chameleon or not, I wouldn't mind just having it to look at and care for. I built a back wall where I planted all plants into pockets and then a tropical "forest" at the bottom. My chameleon has...
YES!!! I am experiencing the exact same thing!! Thank you for posting this because I had no idea what the constant crunching sound was. Now I know! Hopefully he will eat the beetle...
