Yeah the blue spots at the base of his tail. Oh! Marker ink makes more sense. I thought it was a real unusual color pattern. Haha.

I know... i spent about a 1000 creating my bioactive 24x24x48 enclosure. I did not expect to, but i had so much fun building it and it was totally worth it.

Also in addition to veggies, the Repashy Superload is good and goes a long way. Instead of making the mold, I just sprinkle the powder in and they love to eat it.

Good to know! My plants are putting out new leaves so I assume it is working... Do you think having a couple lights is better?

I also tried feeding him yams, apples and kiwi but he doesn't know its food. He just walks right by it.

I use a UVA plant light that stimulates plant growth, but doesn't add any extra UVB (which I already have). I bought the Exo Terra Natural Light 26W. It is really nice to have the extra light and the plants are definitely growing well.

Monet (Ripley's brother) does the same thing! Though, I have moss covered vines and he will tug and rip at the moss and eat it, little bits at a time.
