Assuming you have a adult Cham then yes but also without a solar meter to be safe have a minimum of 6 inches from the top of your chams dorsal spines and T5 HO zoomed 5% or Arcadia 6%
Rainbow mealworms I have always had great customer service from them. As for supplies it all depends on what you will need to get but there are few to start with reptile basics, joshes frogs, LLLreptiles etc.
Yes I have watched that podcast a couple times. FYI Vivtech is selling them already and is SOLD OUT https://www.vivtechproducts.com/index.php/shop/SurSun-Jungle-Cover-UV-LED-p363266135 I seen them at the Anaheim super show. And after you watch it go onto watch this as well
Ok yes Zoomed is a big name company but then again so is Arcadia. Think about who and what company did everyone look to for reptile husbandry? Yes it was most likely Zoomed and yes they are a big name in this hobby but from what I have seen and read they do care for the well being of there...
What I don’t get is why dose John Courteney-Smith would go to say that uvb led is far from being ready and yet there is 2 companies who now have them available ZooMed and Vivtech. 🤔
I have used the smaller version and they work perfectly fine. Not sure you would need this type cause it wouldn’t make sense to put inside the cage itself. Unless your keeping your chams outdoors.
Exactly what I was thinking. Perhaps it’s some new sales pitch like when you go shopping for a car. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s too bad @Strembicki213 was taken advantage of 🤦♂️
Dang that’s a bummer you pay too dollar for the cage and have to deal with these types of issues. Got me concerned now I have 12 of DS new nursery cages still in the box 📦 from a few weeks ago. Hope I don’t run into this if so I will be touching base with Bill.
For any of you that didn’t get to make to the Anaheim Reptile Super Show. And is looking to save some money over at Josh’s frogs! Here is a 15% OFF COUPON CODE
REPSS2021 hope someone can benefit from it.
That doesn’t look like a egg ready to hatch. If it was it probably isn’t now the egg looks too dark looks to have gone bad. Or the neonate wasn’t healthy enough to hatch out.
Not sure why you would want to accomplish that but dragonstrand ledges come in a 5 pack 2 for each of the sides and 1 for the back so with that you should be able to do what you are thinking of.
You could be over watering and definitely not enough air flow. Wet soil + stagnant air will bring these little fungus gnats. I learned this information years back from a Mistking rep at a show he suggested I install a small pc fan above the cage to encourage air flow. Within a week or so no more...
Just picked up my shipment Thursday from Rainbow Mealworms. Mariana has always been helpful in making sure I get my order in a timely manner. If you ever have a issue or just want some great customer service she is the one to talk with!
