i can not find the paint anywhere... i have decided to get backing paper but fill in every gap very well, so there is no holes. I also have a bit of an awkward humidifier, it only does it job if it is submerged in 5cm of water... Im geting a big water dripper to hang...
i might go for the water seal, i gather that it is just like a paint that is suitable for a chameleon cage. I dont think the lumber wood would be very good because i have already bought the cage, the cage is just wood back sides and bottom, the top is mesh for ventilation. I have also posted...

Would wallpaper, the type you put into fish tanks for backing be suitable for chameleon cage backing? does it save me painting my cage with waterproof paint?:confused::confused::confused:
Drainage seems really difficult, ive looked in all of the books and they keep saying there own little ides. The best on i had heard of was a water chamber. where you fence of the bottom of a cage and put mesh over the top, then it fills up with water (of dripper and humidity) then a...

this is all great recomending other cages but i spent over £200 on mine now, ive got a mesh top on i will take a picture to show you now. but i realy can not take it back, it cost to much :eek:ile ask around some pet shops and D.I.Y stores for some of that paint as well.
ok, so your saying i could get any of them?, and also i could not find the solventless odorless latex paint in any shops i went in :( ( do u no any shops that sell it) B&Q said that none of thier paints would be suitable for a pet :mad:
hi, i think i have found a website that sells chameleons, the shop is based in gatwick but they do delivery so that's ok:) but they also do like 10 different types of breed of panther chameleons and i was just wonering which breed is the easiest to look after. (my favortie type is the "sirama"...

i found a paint called everbond... it says it is non-toxic and waterproof. Protects erosion but i just want to know wether anybodys else has used this type of paint???? :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
i dont no if this has already been said because i cant be botherd to look :) but are you sure you should have that substrate? and them fake leaves down the side? ( sorry,if this has been said) the substrate is bad because it soaks up moisture and the fake leaves, well he might eat um! :)
i wish chameleons were trampolinests :mad: you could put a little trampoline underneath, so if he fell of he could bounce on that for a bit untill you let him back up on his branches. :rolleyes:
