Update on Rango
Hi guys...
I felt that I would rather take Rango to the vet before things get serious.
The vet fully examined him and also tested one of his fecals for parasites. He says Rango is very healthy and there is nothing wrong with him. he has no sign of RI (mucus, bubbles or...
Thanks! I'll keep a close eye on him. So do I continue feeding him like I do? 9 roaches and 4 silkworms every day? Or should I cut down on his feeding? I will gutload with some fruit and veggies from now on.
I looked down his mouth today and didnt notice anything weird... I also dont hear...
He does it if I'm around or not. I caught him doing it once when I entered the room so its not me.
Are there any other signs of RI that I should look for? Should I take him to a vet?
Hi guys. I think there might be something wrong with my Panther Chameleon, Rango.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Panther Chameleon, male, 4.5months old. I have him now for almost 3 weeks
Handling - About 3 times a week. (trying to tame him)
Feeding - I'm currently feeding a mix of Dubia...
Thanks everyone! His mom was pure Nosy Mitsio while his daddy was Nosy Faly x Ambanja. I think he will show some really nice colours soon :)
I'm trying to get him to become more tolerant of me. He still runs away when my hand enters the cage. He doesn't mind eating from my hand though.
Hi guys!
I got my panther chameleon Thursday and wanted to brag with him :P
he is 4 months old and a cross between: 25% Nosy Faly, 25% Ambanja and 50% Nosy Mitsio.
Here are some pics of him.
He started taking silkies from my hand already!

Personally I haven't seen any of them eating while they are in the garden yet. I take them out once in a while and "help" them hunt down a few flies by taking them to the fly on my finger. I give them a few of my feeders now and then as well.
There are plenty bugs around ( I guess that's why...
Sorry for only coming back to you guys now... had a busy weekend.
Anyway here are some more pics of the chams. I actually found a new one today. I would say he is about 3-4 months old.
enjoy!
