I use heatpads for my leopard geckos in there tubs and don't have a problem, I put aluminum foil like syn said on the sticky part and it works just fine.

You can give them a 2.0 UVB if you wish, It's not needed butit brightens up the cage nicely. And the frogs You should put a heat pad against the back of the cage, on the wall. Dust there food with plain calcium and d3 and vitamins every week. And yeah, the umbrella plants fine, I have one...

Thats strange. Anything else you think the problem could be? Maybe just duller geckos? They still look so pretty though I love the way day geckos look with the water droplets on them

haha... what are you talking about.... ;) Well gargs do tend to be more jumpy but thats not really saying much since they calm down pretty fast. One annoying thing that mine do it defecate every time I take them out! Even if it is mainly water, still is annoying Apparently, most gargys do...

Are you using any UVB? I found that mine turned a lot browner without the light but when it was back on, they perked up to bright green.

In my opinion, they are a lot cooler looking then cresteds, but basically the same care is required for them. Plus they have some really nice morphs out there! I plan on breeding mine soon.
