My First Crestie!

I went to my first reptile show today and got my first crested gecko! Iirc he is a red harlequin partial pinstrip, but don't hold me to that, lol! It means nothing to me - he's just oh so cute! I just love his sticky feet and how he unsticks his toes when he walks, loL! I've seen him lick his eyeballs too! He is fab! He doesn't have a name yet as I can't decide!

Thanks Olimpia, he will be 4 months next weekend - he hatched on 30th June! He's such a tiny l'il thing! He's used to being handled as he was very close to being the breeder's 'keeper' - gonna try and get him out in a while as he should be starting to wake up soon!

Thanks! I had a great time! Met some friends from a UK forum and had lunch with Anita (Chameleon Lady). Was a bit sad to see adult geckos in cricket tubs though, but I guess it's to stop them moving around too much and hurting themselves. I wasn't prepared for that and was a bit shocked. Positives wre that I saw baby Panther chams and a Fischers too! But by far the best thing was an adult pair of Melleri! Until yesterday I have only ever seen Veileds, Pygmies and a baby Jackson, so I had a very enjoyable but tiring day! Can't wait til next year now, lol!

He now has a name - SPLAT!!!

He'll be 4 months old at the weekend - he hatched on June 30th, so he's only tiny yet! He needs to 'grow some' so to speak! Lol!

Here's a couple more pics of my Splat! All the pics I took while he was being handled are awful as he just doesn't sit still long enough! Plus the lighting in the room is bad which my camera didn't like and I didn't want to put the flash on the poor little chap!
