Are you serious?
Also, where in Florida was this? Will there be anymore shows in Fl soon? I live there part of the year (grew up there but go to school in Az)
I was talking to a dealer/breeder at a show and he said chams won't eat fruits or veggies, or plant matter at all. I had remembered hearing different before him, so was he just ignorant?
also, if anyone has these symptoms, the way he was sitting (almost vertically) was because there was fluid in his lungs and he could breathe much better that way.
So, Klaus has pneumonia :( He was also dehydrated (because he had no interest in food or water for since the illness started) He had some fluid in his lungs and some crust around an eye. The vet gave me Baytril to give to him . 2ml a day out of a dropper. I hope he will pull through but the vet...
Also, the cham won't drink out of it. just get a misting bottle and mist the surrounding leaves with warm or hot water.
waterfalls are also little pools of bacteria.
i am taking him to the vet on friday. this is the only time they can see him. i gave him some water today off of my finger and he drank that, but he doesn't have any interest in food. the last time i saw him eat was about 3 days ago. do you think he will be able to hold out until the vet?
I think it might be the choking thing :(
Will it pass or should I go to a vet?
Also, the crickets that I have been letting loose in his cage are fairly big. He hadn't had any problem at first, so I figured he could handle them. Apparently not.
SVL is about 1.25 inches. Also, I checked...

I believe I am in view without being scary. My apartment is somewhat small so my computer desk is near the enclosure, so he sees me from time to time. Also, i have hand fed him several times. whenever i get him on my hand outside of the cage he walks quickly, real low across my hand/arm. i just...
for the past day or so my baby panther has been sitting near the top of his enclosure in a vertical position. he was just doing it now, so i snapped a pic. he has been more vertical than this previously. also, his eyes are closed during this, but he will open them to look around if something...
How can I get my baby panther to stop being so dang afraid of me? Today was the worst. I took him out to try to get him to eat this mealworm (he hadn't touched it for a day or two in his cage) and he wouldnt even pay attention to it, he is too preoccupied with being aware of me. After that he...
